Ranflex Metals has eight hydraulic open die presses, one hydraulic upset press, four ring mills, and one bar planishing mill produce parts that weigh from 5 lbs. to 80,000 lbs. in stainless, copper, aluminum, nickel, and other ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Shapes that are readily forged include bars (round, square, flat or hex), blanks, rings, hubs, stepdown shafts, hollows, and unusual, contoured shapes achieved by torch cutting and other secondary processing.
